I have been blessed to join with many friends and help them create a home they feel comfortable in and one that they finally feel worthy of. I think that at times we settle in life and in our home, because we just don’t know where to start and maybe even deeper we don’t think we deserve better. I am so thankful that I get to show you all what you are deserving of and what might feel like a beautiful space is really a chance to see your value and your innate design.

I only recently launched a social media account and I am as guilty as any of scrolling and seeing beautiful homes, beautiful things, and wanting to get closer to them. See them more often. I kind of stumbled into interior design about 6 or so years ago with a friendly neighbor asking me for help. At times I have struggled at how to connect my love for creating a welcoming and beautiful space to my worth and value in the world. I couldn’t see then what I see now.

But lately, as I look at the prospect of investing a bit more onto my business and into your homes I have noticed something that hopefully will encourage you, as it has me. You see, I believe we are drawn to beautiful things. Not simply because we have been trained at what beauty is but because the One who designed us, created all that we see just for that purpose; for you to look at, smell, enjoy. Its the reason you want to sit by the fireplace a little longer. Its why I can just sit and stare at well styled shelf, a completed living room, soft linen curtains flowing in front of a window and the perfect rug in an entryway. All are things I believe can connect you to the way you are designed and the One who designed you.

Just take a peek out the window. There will never be vase I can fill with flowers that will ever match up to trees in bloom in the spring, rich green in summer, full of color in the fall or snow-covered in the winter. God always does it better. He created all that we see for our delight. And He is delighted that you love it so.

And each time you walk past it and you get that feeling of joy, self satisfaction, delight, remember that is exactly how God sees you. His best creation.
